With the rapid development of Guangzhou's retail business the business spatial structure has changed greatly. At the same time, Guangzhou's transit has developed rapidly since the No.1 subway was put into practice. The construction of transit has exerted great influence on retail business spatial structure, but there are few related research results. It is necessary to explore the influence on retail business location which is exerted by the transit throughout and systematically. Firstly, we can promote the development of business location theory. Secondly, we can provide important advice for the construction of transit and the development of urban retail business to achieve a win-win situation.The article analyzes the transit's influence on retail business in urban geography .urban planning and retail geography. It analyzes the transit's influence on retail business and takes Guangzhou as a good example .It also describes the feature of the no.1 and no.2 subway's retail business spatial structure and analyzes the market orientation of underground retail business along the transit.The major results may be listed as followed: firstly, the dissertation summarizes the mechanism of the transit's influence on the retail business spatial structure. Tt will change three factors-namely market* spatial and competition ,then the location of retail enterprise will be changed which in turn changes the business spatial structure by means of point to line and at last to area. Secondly, Guangzhou's retail business spatial structure will be changed greatly with the rapid development of transit. Thirdly, it demonstrates the overall feature of the retail business spatial structure along the transit and compares the feature of no.1 with that of no.2. At last, it concerns about the development and the market orientation of the underground business .IT puts up some advices based on questionnaire and related analysis. We should plan and construct underground business street carefully, learn successful experience from other cities and countries .So it is necessary to widen and deepen the research of transit and retail business.Undoubtedly it is only a beginning on the research about the relation between the transit and business spatial structure for there are so many other problems to be explored. For example, how to make clear the extent of the transit's influence on retail business spatial structure, how the transit influences the development of the business's suburbanization in big city .At the same time, it is necessary to cope with the relation between the exploration of underground business resource and safety .
