Due to market place evolution and its pressures in terms of customer expectations(e.g., short order fulfillment cycle time, highly customized satisfaction, timely satisfaction, low prices, etc), organizations of the new millennium are forced to continuously revise and adapt their ways of creating customer value in the global digital economy. In response to these changing market requirements, on the one hand, organizations are transforming themselves in order to sustain their own durability by focusing on their core business activities, ie., those activities for which they possess a competitive advantage, and by establishing new forms of partnership with their interactors; on the other hand, organizations are changing their organization structures, from rigid traditional control architecture towards need-based flexible collaborative control architecture. As a result, collaboration is going to be a dominant issue for organizations, whatever from external environment or internal environment. The "collaboration" will become a main problem enterprise faced in the global digital economy. So along with this clue, some problems as following are studied in this paper: 1) collaborative manufacturing environment, collaborative manufacturing network and operation center are proposed, and base on these concepts, some problems relate to production control are identified; 2) the framework for collaborative manufacturing environment is constructed by using agent and multi-agent, the framework conducts scheduling and controlling functions among production entities, as well as within them, using autonomous agent and weighted functions for distributed decision-making, while simple index values, instead of detailed data, are used for information exchange among agents; 3) finally, resource promises model are proposed, based on the model, resource control collaborative mechanism is developed for collaborative manufacturing environment; 4) collaborative contingency management is introduced.
