Private economy is not only a theoretical issue but a practical one in terms of the elementary stage of socialism, the aim of over-all well-off society and economic and social development in Shanxi. My thesis historically and realistically explores Shanxi private economic development in the elementary stage of socialismThe first part of this paper analyzes the relationship between socialism and private economy by summarizing the experience and lessons in socialism construction and international communism movement. The conclusion is that the destiny of private economy is closely associated with the level of productive force.
