Study On Grain Productivity Of Arable Land In Yellow River-Huaihe River-Haihe River Plain

The rapid development of economy, rapid process of urbanization and the continuous increase of population bring more and more stress to arable land, the total area of arable land and the average area per head of arable land decrease increasingly. And with the improvement of the people's standard of living, requirement to farm produce is higher. Population, land and grain will be in strained state. Grain safety is a political issue that relates to social stabilization and economic development of the nation, it is ultimate issue that relates to the national survival and development. Therefore, it is the base to realize the sustainable development of society and economy and the key to solve the problem of population, land and grain to discuss the approach of continuous increase of grain production and institute corresponding measure in different regions.Yellow river-Huaihe river-Haihe river Plain is one of the important farm belt in our country, it is the important farm produce base where grain was moved to the south. The stable increase of grain yield and sustainable use of land in this region relate to grain safety of this region and the nation. Therefore, the study firstly analyzes quantity change, quality change, economic benefit change, and grain productivity change of arable land. Based on the above analysis, the effect of arable land change on grain productivity is analyzed. The results indicate that quantity decrease and quality fall of arable land bring on biggish loss of grain productivity in Yellow river-Huaihe river-Haihe river Plain. Then the limiting factors that influence grain productivity of arable land in Yellow river-Huaihe river-Haihe river Plain are discussed. The results indicate that the limiting factors which influence grain productivity of arable land may be not devotion factors in Yellow river-Huaihe river-Haihe river Plain, it is economic benefit. Lastly the natural production potential and economic production potential of arable land in Yellow river-Huaihe river-Haihe river Plain are analyzed by the means of technology technology economics. The conclusion is that natural production potential is quite big, and economic production potential is biggish in this area.
