A Study On The Development Strategy Of Kailuan Diversified Business Company

Theory of strategy management occurred in U.S.A in 1950s, it has played an important role in survival and development of western enterprises. Enterprises in China have paid more attention to strategy management since 1980s, many of them became establishing developmental strategies that are suitable to their conditions and those strategies enhance their performance greatly. With the specializing reengineering in Kailuan Group, Kailuan diversified business company set up in October, 2002. After detailed study on theory of strategy management, this paper analyzed the internal and external environment in which Kailuan diversified business exists and point out opportunity and threat Kailuan diversified business is faced with. Making use of theory and method of strategy management, this paper puts forward the overall development strategy and gives the supporting strategies such as financial management, research & development, management innovation, human resource, company culture. Those strategies will play an important role in enhancing development of Kailuan diversified business. At the same time the research result in this paper will provide instruction to related enterprises.
