Marketing strategy is not only a main segment of the corporation strategy, but also a major program of lasting importance of corporation's survival and growth. With the continuous development of reform on the design of reconnaissance, electric power design is turning into engineering corporations. Especially for large electric power designing corporations, they trying to run under the way of EPC engineering total contract. With the going deep of our country electric power system reform large adjusts will occur on the industrial chain of construction of electric power projects. Large changes will take place on the circumstance and orientation of market of electric power design corporations. With the result, corporations need new marketing strategy to accommodate the new circumstance.In this research, the emphases is, on one hand, studying the international and native electric market and analyzing the character of competition on electric power design system, on the other hand, applying the SWOT method to find out the advantages and crises of the electric design system and taking out the main portions of marketing strategy of CSEPDI which is composed by eight parts and bring out the way of selection and implement under the different conditions. This research make a valuable exploration on such problems as how to innovate and practice on ways of marketing, how to adjust interior resource and organize structure of corporation to adapt to market and global trend of electric engineering market after our country joined into WTO, how to establish and select marketing strategy for corporation.This research trying to studying the marketing circumstance and competitive situation and marketing strategy in order to offer reference on marketing strategy for electric power design corporations. To realize this aim, except theories and practices are used and the fruits of former are used for reference, the research applies marketing theory and mathematic methods combined with market inquiry to analysis impersonal fact.
