Management Mode Transition Study Of Chinese Freight Forwarders

After our country's entering WTO, we will gradually cancel the access limits for the freight market, Implement national treatment to foreign companies, thus make more and more foreign strengths in freight fields land China, and domestic and international Ship Company set up one's own agency at the same time. All sorts of factors make domestic freight forwarders sink into very fierce competition. For the medium-small freight forwarders (MSFF), the overwhelming majority in our forwarder fields, their survival and development face the severe challenge. Just under such a background, this article studies the strategy transition of MSFF and relevant problems, and attempts to offer the theoretical direction to practice of the freight forwarders.The thesis is divided into four parts mainly. The first part is the developing history and current situation of the freight forwarders of our country. Second part is enterprise traditional management mode and environmental analysis. The third part is about the large-and-middle-scale shipping agency enterprise management mode transition of our country. The fourth part is about the medium and small- scale shipping agency enterprise management mode transition of our country.First of all, chapter one of thesis has introduced the concept of the shipping agency and developing history, pointed out the important function of the shipping agency and one's own advantage of shipping agency enterprises of our country, later put forward the development trend of the shipping agency trade, namely to the comprehensive logistics enterprise's development trend, pointed out the developing direction of freight forwarders tentatively.And then, chapter two of thesis, according to the introduction of enterprise's management mode, analyzed the traditional management modes of shipping agency enterprises of our country, provided the drawback under this kind of mode of enterprises, and combined the domestic and foreign environmental analysis to the industry, drew the necessity that the management mode transition, analyzed international freight forwarders management mode's developing situation, thus offered reference for the management modes transition of our enterprise.Afterwards, in chapter three, have given concept of the logistics and the necessity to develop logistics industry at first, then has put forward the scheme that freight forwarders transform into third party's logistics enterprise, concept related to third party's logistics , difference between freight forwarders and third party's logistics, advantage that freight forwarders transform into third party's logistics enterprise, logistics' value and prospects, how freight forwarders transform into third party's logistics enterprise and China ocean's successful case, then put forward to scheme that freight forwarders transform into fourth party's logistics enterprise, mentioned concept, overseas' fourth party's logistics, the condition to become fourth party's logistics and basic management mode of fourth party's logistics enterprise.Finally, in chapter four, pointed out to set up virtual logistics enterprise alliances for the medium and small enterprises, including: the necessity, feasibility of the alliance, the set-up of the alliance, management of the alliance, etc., later put forward the large-scale supplementary suggestion of enterprise's market of logistics of running for enterprises to some medium and small goods, and to the concrete strategic choice and noticing the principle explaining briefly.Innovation of the thesis:First, put forward four general orientations to the management modes transition of shipping agency enterprises: transform into third party's logisticsenterprise , transform into fourth party's logistics enterprise , set up virtual logistics enterprise alliances and make market supplement of large-scale logistics, among them first two kinds take the place of enterprises of the large-and-middle-scale enterprises, and last two kinds take the place of enterprises of the medium and small-scale goods, and als...
