In the Knowledge-Economy Age, the human capital that clings to Knowledge employee becomes a kind of important mine of Modern Corporation's value. Motivation, which researches how to mobilize employees' enthusiasm, is a very important part in corporate management.This thesis firstly analyzes the features of the Knowledge Economy and Knowledge Employees and then introduces and analyzes the traditional motivation theories and the new development of management theory. After analyzed a series of questionnaires to knowledge employee in some corporation, we draw the following conclusion:1.The marks, by which knowledge employees comment on the firm psychologically, are not high.2.The same measure of motivation plays different roles. As for the very knowledge employee, in different period or under different circumstance, what he needs varies.3. The effects of the motivation measures applied to knowledge employees are not obvious.Then the thesis puts forward some available general requirements:1. Decrease the losing rate of excellent knowledge employees.2. Ensure that knowledge employees make extreme use of their talents.3. Pay attention to the co-growth of both the employee and the firm.Finally, by material motivation together with other methods, the growth and development of the knowledge employees are supposed to be cared about. And they should be permitted to perform well and grow while working. Further more, the administrative level of the firm will be increased rapidly.
