The Study Of Land Use And Cover Change In The Large-Scale Open Coal Mine Area Of The Loess District

The large-scale open mining area of loess district is a kind of artificial violent perturbation area, as the mining industry went on, it is violent for original artificial perturbation of ecosystem, meanwhile the Land Use and Cover Change and landscape pattern were remarkable, it has formed unique Land Use and Cover Change pattern and landscape pattern of mining area. While the mining area land reclaiming and rebuilding with the ecology, it functions well to carry out the study of Land Use and Cover Change, and it is also important for ecological security in mining area, reuse of land resource and sustainable development.This research takes the case of Pingshuo open coal mine located in district of loess plateau, analyse the Land Use and Cover Change and the landscape pattern. On the basis of investigation and analysis on the Land Use and Cover Change and the landscape element of the mining area land, with the MapGIS geographical information system, we apply the principle of Land Use and Cover Change and landscape ecology, discuss the Land Use and Cover Change classification, demonstrate the influence mechanism of Land Use and Cover Change, describe the process of the Land Use and Cover Change and imitate, study the landscape characteristic of Pingshuo mining area, the result indicates:(1)The Land Use and Cover Change type can be divided into different kinds of type from different angle, however, combining the reality, in order to well reflect the dynamics and particularity of the land use pattern of mining area, we should consult many kinds of land use and land cover classification and according to destruction sitution divide the land use pattern of the mining area into the excavation land, the occupied land, the piled up land, the original land. And divide the original land into the drought land, the bush land, the paucity forest land, the unformed and reproducted forest land, the markable land, the town mixed housing estate, the industrial land, the highway land, the desolate meadow land, the naked land, and other unused land,total 11 types.(2)Study demonstrates the driving force of the Land Use and Cover Change through flow percentage and many degrees of indexes. The result demonstrates the use pattern of original land in proportion changed into the bush land, the industrial land and the naked land, and the spot which makes the most changes all turn to the naked land, the bush land and the industrial land. According to it, we can analyse and result that external driving force of Antaibao mining area Land Use and Cover Change is regulation and policy of country, the fund of reclaim, property right structure of the land, technological means of reclaim, the numbers of people engaged in agricultural production, disturbance velocity in the ground, etc, the exterior driving force is time of reclaim, the slope of topography, bulk weight of soil, and organic content, ect.(3) The Land Use and Cover Change process of the large-scale open mining area include: the land excavation, the land occupied, the land piled up.With the analysis of shifting matrix, only 7 kinds of land use patterns have't changed over the past 20 years, other land type vary in type or area, but direction is various kinds of land types transform into the...
