Study On The System Of Legal Aid For Social Disadvantaged Groups

The system of Legal Aid, as the result of legal institution and the lawyer's system in an advanced and civilized modern society, has been developing for hundreds of years in the West. In China, however, it has been built only for nearly a decade. At present, it is being confronted with a society experiencing the period of swift transforming, producing a large number of social disadvantaged groups, and breeding some new social contradictions. So it is absolutely necessary for China to establish a perfect and suitable system of Legal Aid during the course of founding a Nation Ruled by Law.Therefore, this paper, with the intention of perfecting the system of Legal Aid and defending the lawful rights and the profits enjoyed by the social disadvantaged groups, puts forward a specific method to the reformation of this system in terms of related legislation, constructions, personnel management, communities' cooperation and the aiding ideas, taking the measures of sociology to research positively, after having the practice jobs in many Legal Aid Centers and lawyers' companies, consulting piles of documents associated, analyzing not only the course and historical and social backgrounds on the development of this system, but the problems, combined with the causes, about this system.
