Research On The Problem Of Social Assitance Of The Disadvantaged Groups

As an important and basic part of social security system,social assistance takes positive role in protecting the basic living and legitimate rights of low-income people and citizens,maintainingsocial stability.At the present,China is now at the critical stage of completing the building of a moderately prospersous society,the social assistance system which made some progress can't accommodate the economic and social development.This dissertation takes the social assistance system of Xihu District,Nanchang City,Jiangxi Province for research object,basing on studying and using the theory of vulnerable groups and social assistance,analysis the content of social assistance,the basic situation of vulnerable groups,the manegment and effect of social assistance in Xihu Distric which using the method literature research and statistical analysis to reveals the problems in the social assistance system,then point out the solution of consummating social assistance of vulnerable groups in Xihu District.Through the study and research,I believe that we should modify the condtions of the assistance object recognition,refine the family economic system status survey,merge and standardize the social assistance management system,replenish methods of the social assistance for the handcipped,optimise the function of ring-fenced social assistance,guide and encourage social forces involve the social assistance,strengthen the construction of social assistance word team.I hope this research will be helpful to perfect Xihu District's social assistance system.
