Study On Preservation And Tourism Management Mode Of World Culture Heritage Pingyao Ancient City

With the development of tourism, world heritage sites are becoming popular in the world. Tourism builds up preservation consciousness of people, offering many chances for world heritages preservation in funds, technologies and environments, etc. And at the same tune, it plays an important role for resurgence of culture heritage. On the other hand, contradictions between tourism development and preservation are becoming increasingly marked, especially the preservation of world heritage, which is suffering from unreasonable tourism management. Pressure on the preservation of world heritage sites is becoming greater and greater, which is the popular problem for most world heritage sites in the world. That how to deal with the relationship of preservation and development, and how to achieve the equilibrium of the two, is the most important mission for many world heritage sites.Taking Pingyao ancient city for example, this paper profoundly analyses its basic actuality of tourism development and preservation, points out the relationship between the two is in accordance essentially. While contradictions are becoming more and more marked with the tourism development. There are many reasons for them. But the most important one is the problem about the regime, which is the key reason for the uneven relationship between preservation and development.Using the theory of institutional economics, this paper assays the problem of present regulation pattern for Pingyao ancient city, such as multi-regulation, multi-goal and corporation management, which will make the preservation actuation useless. And then this paper gives theoretical analysis to some present measures for the present problems, consulting several cases abroad. On such a basis, it brings forward the proper preservation and tourism management mode of Pingyao ancient city from three aspects as management system, operational system and principles of preservation and management. By establishing of integrated and systemic management mode for preservation and tourism, this paper aims at accelerating the harmony and integration of the two, enhancing its management level, and giving some reference to the preservation and tourism development of similar world heritage sites.
