Crime, the prevailing social phenomena in all countries of the world, is one of the problems of our society. Since thousands of years, every country has given criminals all kinds of punishment to maintain public and social safety. Imprisonment has become the center of the system of execution of punishment in every country since modern times and reflected the punishments for actions of criminals. But the system of execution of punishment isn't unchangeable and it changes continually with social development and state will. In modern times, under the impact of economic development and all kinds of thoughts, the western countries have begun to pursue the goal of the resocialization of criminals on the basis of introspecting the drawbacks of imprisonment. The socialization of execution of sentence has become the trend of the development of international execution of sentence. Historically, our country is a rather developed country of execution of retaliation. Nowadays, with great changes in all aspects of our society, the traditional concept of execution of sentence has been challenged and the system of execution of punishment needs reforming. The present pilot project of community-based corrections in our country marks a new stage for the socialization of execution ofsentence. This text is about to give a comprehensive exploration of the meaning, significance, basic principles, conditions and methods for implementation, etc, of the socialization of execution of sentence and raises a specific plan for carrying out the model and concept of the socialization of execution of sentence in practice in our country. Except the introduction, the main body is divided into five charters.The first chapter: the meaning and significance of the socialization of execution of sentence. The first part of this chapter mainly analyses the meaning of execution of sentence and of the socialization of execution of sentence and the characteristics of the socialization of execution of sentence: peculiarity, nature of purpose, duality and diversity. The later part discusses the significance of the socialization of execution of sentence, which is reflected in three aspects: a necessary way to perfect the system of execution of punishment of our country, an effective measure to improve the quality of reform of criminals, a subjective need to adjust to the development of the system of international execution of sentence.The second chapter: the principles of the socialization of execution of sentence. This chapter points out that it is not a coincidence to carry out the socialization of execution of sentence worldwide and that has reflected the trend of the development of the system of execution of sentence. Meanwhile, it seems very urgent to implement the socialization of execution of sentence in our country. But it is a gradual process, duringwhich we should stick on the principles of four aspects: to combine the inference of the traditional culture of our country's outstanding laws with the absorption of the achievements of developed countries' law civilization, to be based on the realistic conditions and aimed at the development in future, to combine punishment and correction and to lay equal stress on execution inside and outside prison.The third chapter: the conditions of the socialization of execution of sentence. This chapter gives a throughout analysis on the three necessary conditions for the socialization of execution of sentence. (1). Social condition. The realization of the socialization of execution of sentence outside prison mainly depends on the conditions in all aspects of society. The focus is to build a proper air and environment for community-based corrections and a system of organization and set up special organs in light of foreign countries. (2).
