Research On The Port Logistics Management Mode In Our Country

After WTO, the port is not only a transportation center of goods and industrial production base, but also the very important component of logistics service network system, the position in the modern comprehensive logistics is very important. Fast development of logistics service creates new chance for further development of the port, have put forward higher request. For good existence and development to in new environment, port must expand its service function further , launch the modernized logistics service actively.Face the tendency of logistics service development and request, every large port in the world adopt various kinds of strategy in order to keep and strengthen oneself competition advantage, make great efforts to become world container transportation center and comprehensive logistics center, launch the logistics service actively. In our country, a lot of port enterprises have made great efforts to explore and try to make the transition to the logistics service too, have accumulated some succeeded experience and failed lesson.So, this theses research on the port logistics management mode, and take Ningbo port of coastal port in our country as an example and analysis the real example, hope to offer the rational mode selection for port in our country to develop logistics industry, play the guidance function of the theory to its practice activity of logistics development.The content of the theses is divided into six chapters. Chapter 1 is the preface, explain the meaning and purpose of thesis writing mainly, and introduce research situation of relevant theory at present; Chapter 2 introduce the basic conception and analysis the current situations and trends of logistics development of our country; Chapter 3 analysis the certainty and advantage of our country port to develop logistics, and explain current situations and trends of our country port logistics; Chapter 4 combine with our country port characteristic of logistics, discuss several management mode and suitable terms in detail. Propose 3 management mode altogether in this chapter, namely logistics center mode, specially permit chain management mode,simulation logistics enterprise mode. To these kinds of management modes, have explained separately basic conception, essential feature, basic suitable terms and the thought of development and some questions that should be noticed. These three kinds of modes are put forward against current situation and trend of the port logistics at the present stage. As various fields theory and practice is deepen constantly, the theory of logistics development model will get new development; Chapter 5 is the case study. Take Ningbo port of coastal port in our country as an example, concretely research on choosing and implementation question of port logistics development model. Ningbo port develop rapidly in recent years, for establish its status of the important component of Northeast Asia international shipping center as soon as possible, take active action too, establish and perfect modern logistics system, launch the modernized comprehensive logistics service. Chapter 4 and chapter 5 are the focuses of the theses.Research of this thesis not only play the guidance function of the theory for our country port to develop logistics, but also have the meaning of using for reference to other relevant enterprises with similar characteristic.
