The Structure And Function Of Regional Logistics Network

The interaction relation of regional logistics and regional economic development is studied based on Marxism circulation theory, regional economics and modern logistics principles. In the meanwhile, according to the situation of Jiangsu, a province of the southeast of China, the essential feature and node function of regional logistics network system are studied with the method of investigation and systemic analysis, qualitative and quantitative analysis, and the space structure of regional logistics network is established. The regional logistics network is believed to have time utility and space utility. Its optimization and improvement can economize the exchange cost and promote the economics of agglomeration and the economics of scale in the area. The strutting function of logistics network in regional economy in Jiangsu province is mainly studied. The system of Jiangsu logistics is regarded taking Nanjing, Xuzhou and SuXiChang as its cores and having the structure with several layers and grades. Its structure should be optimized by integrating the logistics networks of the three big metropolitans (Nanjing, Xuzhou and Suxichang) and the coastal logistics network of (Shanghai) TongYanLianXu. The index system of logistics ability is set up to analyze logistics ability of main nodes in Jiangsu logistics network comparatively. The countermeasure and suggestion about the development of Jiangsu logistics network are proposed to the government.
