The concept and the idea of logistics have changed deeply along with the development of productivity, social economy and improvement of science and technology. The enterprise logistics is the important part that an enterprise produces and managing, it is the source of creating" the third profit" and the foundation of the social great logistics system too. The production logistics inside the enterprise is the key part of the enterprise logistics and key link, Knowing and researching the basic principles and laws of the production logistics will be favorable to the optimization of the enterprise logistics and help to drive the enterprise competition. In all types of manufacturing enterprises, the production logistics in discrete job-shop ordering type manufacturing enterprises can say that it has the typical characteristics most and has the most complicated composing of the production logistics system too. So, the paper regarded it as the focal point of studying and proposed the new thought of optimum design and new method in production logistics system.Firstly, based on the advanced production logistics system optimizes technology at home and abroad, this paper summarized the production logistics system in this type enterprise sufficiently through the method of system analysis, it pointed out five key constituent elements (flowing entity, carrying entity, flowing direction, flowing quantity and flowing journey) in production logistics system and described the concrete characteristic of it.Secondly, the paper proceeds from entropy theory in information theory mainly; it set up the logistics entropy model that optimizes production logistics system. The model come to consider optimizing the resource distribution within the system from the logistics structure entropy, and come to consider controlling the operation conditions of the production logistics from thefunction of its operation entropy. So that it can achieve the aim of optimizing the whole production logistics system and the aim of raising the systematic order degree. Based on the project of cellular manufacturing in the first workshop of ZMJ Company and through comparing to logistics entropy and order degree in production logistics system before and after the project implementation, the paper validated the actual applied effect of the logistics entropy model. Thus, it finished the demonstration research of the model.At last, the paper put forward the theory analysis and popularized demonstration of the logistics entropy model in the same type of enterprises and the merit, the perfect and further development direction existed in the logistics entropy model. It pointed out that the model is not a item of independent optimizing technology of production logistics, it needs to combine with other relevant advanced manufacturing technologies and optimizing theories and methods (Cellular Manufacturing Technology, Group Technology, Operation research, Industrial Engineering Theory), coordinate each other, so that it can exert its own characteristic, and realize the application in manufacturing enterprise and obtain favorable effect.
