Research On Knowledge Management Of Power Generation Enterprises

Human society will enter the knowledge economy times in 21st century. In knowledge economy times, knowledge comes to be key production factor of enterprises and becomes the most important resource of enterprises. The abilities of creating, scattering and utilizing knowledge is crucial to survival and development of enterprises. So knowledge management is very necessary to enterprises. Knowledge management is widely applied in developed countries and most famous international enterprises employ knowledge management. Power generation enterprises are technology-intense industry. The power regulation reform brings power generation enterprises into market. To meet the needs of knowledge economy times, knowledge management is a very necessary measure for power generation enterprises to increase competitive abilities.The thesis has three parts. The first part introduces the meaning and classification of knowledge, analyzes the characteristics of knowledge economy times and the necessities of implementing knowledge management, and describes enterprise knowledge activities and enterprise knowledge value chains. The second part discusses the introduction of knowledge management in enterprises. First it analyzes knowledge management tactics, then the necessary knowledge management organizations and the design of knowledge management system are discussed, and finally the enterprise culture changes and incentive mechanisms for the success of implementing knowledge management are researched. The third part analyzes the necessities and feasibility of knowledge management in power generation enterprises, discusses the strategic tactics .organization, system design, enterprise culture changes and incentive mechanism of implementing knowledge management in power generation enterprises.
