Research On The Sustainable Development Of Zhongyuan Urban Agglomeration

The development of Zhongyuan urban agglomeration, as a key construction project of building a comfortably off society an all-round way in Henan province, is being paid attention widely. This paper studies the status of this region by theories of regional sustainable development, mathematic models and GIS methods in 10 years. This article analyzes general development level, harmony status and special changes of harmony status about every period of time, discusses the influence of each sustainable development subsystem to regional sustainable development, and brings foreword development stratagems to realize sustainable development of the studied region.Introduction is about writing purpose and main contents of this paper. The second segment introduces basic theories on regional sustainable development, which includes origin of sustainable development and the forming of regional sustainable development, and which reviews concept, basic principles and researching status in quo of regional sustainable development. In the third segment, it describes the guiding functions of system theory in the study of regional sustainable development, and it also touches upon something related to regional sustainable development system, involving its definition and characteristics. The fourth refers to systemic analysis of regional sustainable development, which includes theorise analysis and quantitative analysis. Theorise analysis consists of fair quality analysis, sustainable analysis and harmony analysis of regional sustainable development. Quantitative analysis concerns its general development analysis and harmony analysis. The main of the article is the fifth part. In that, it introduces detailedly the Zhongyuan Urban agglomeration at first, which is about how to form Zhongyuan Urban agglomeration and why this region forms and its development. In succession, it researches the sustainable development of this region with above-mentioned theories and societal, economic and environmental data of the studied region. It mainly analyses the level of general development and harmony statusof economic, societal and environmental subsystem of the studied region in 10 years. In addition, it researches the special distributing about the harmony status of the studied region in different period. Moreover, it estimates that condition above-mentioned and brings forward development strategy. At last, it summarizes and points out the shortages and many questions that need research further.
