Take the sustainable development systematic perspective as the rationale, discusses the target system, theory, model, and the GIS method of the sustainable development system analysis, and conducts real diagnosis research to Henan Province and Zhongyuan city group.First, summarizes the elementary theory of sustainable development; then, by a brand-new angle of view, narrates and comments the sustainable development thought, theory origin and development vein from the historic angle; on this foundation, proposes sustainable development systematic perspective theory; and take this as the basic theoretic point, constructs the target system of sustainable development system analysis; establishes sustainable development system analysis model; finally, conducts analysis research in respect to case region. The full text altogether is divided into six parts.First chapter is "sustainable development theory discussion". First, analyzes the reason of the formation of sustainable development theory from two aspects of the practice foundation and the theory origin. The formation of sustainable development theory is a big leap of cognition regarding the human and the nature relation (also called human-earth relation) in the course of human race development, and is closely related to the worsening of human survival environment. One may say that, the globalization of environmental problem is the practice foundation for the formation of sustainable development theory; although the sustainable development thought has existed since ancient times, but being a modern development theory, its theory originates directly from Roman club thought and viewpoint as well as dispute and the polemic with the opposition faction at the same time; the environment problem and Roman club thought is only exterior factor in the formation of sustainable development theory, while there is still interior inevitability, that is, the unsustainable factors of human civilization caused by modern industrial civilization. Second, by analysis of document (due to difficultiesin obtaining materials from abroad, the analysis is limited to domestic document), makes a survey of sustainable development conception, theory, main problems and research orientation in key disciplinary fields. Lastly, analyzes the limitation of sustainable development theory from two opposite sides.Second chapter is "sustainable development history commentary". First, reflects panoramically on sustainable development thought from aspects of its background, development and evolution, etc.; and holds that the formation of sustainable development thought undergoes several stages, that is, unification of human and nature in primitive time, the simple sustainable development thought in agricultural civilization time, the puzzlement of industry civilization time, the appearance of sustainable development thought, and the formation of sustainable development thought in ecology civilization time, etc. Next, by analysis of the reason for puzzlement the sustainable development faces, discusses fundamental research and the present situation of its practice of sustainable development.Third chapter is "the sustainable development systematic perspective". First, analyzes the essential factor view of sustainable development time from aspects of resources, population, environment, economy, development and values, etc. Then, given the background, the development path of sustainable development system, proposes sustainable development systematic perspective. The sustainable development is a dynamic complex system containing essential factors of population, resources, environment, economy and society and so on, and the understanding of which has experienced a transformation as: the sustainable development idea → sustainable development theory → sustainable development practice, and after nearly 30 years' of development, the sustainable development theory has realized a theoretic overtaking: the sustainable development thought → sustainable development view → sustainable development systematic perspective. Deducing the systematic perspective from three dimensions of essential factor, space and stage, proposes that sustainable development system is a whole in dynamic change whose development is not only limited, moreover, must be moderate, and the coordination is not only of the interior system coordination, but also coordination with related systems, etc.Fourth chapter is "sustainable development system analysis target system". First, summarizes the overall condition of sustainable development target research in each discipline; then, introduces establishment process of target system. According to the sustainable development systematic perspective, the target system should include three series, namely essential factor series, spatial series and stage series. Regarding the essential factor series, the existing target system basically belongs to this category, but regarding the space and the stage series, at present, they are only at the stage of concept discussion. The target system establishment is a complex process, one of the important steps is the target setting, screening and the key determination, at present, there are mainly two methods, namely qualitative analysis and quantitative evaluation. The combination of the qualitative and quantitative can both avoid the subjectivity of qualitative method and tedious computation of quota method, and guarantee objectivity in screening the target, thus makes target system simpler and workable, and also has a stronger operationally.Fifth chapter is "sustainable development system analysis methods and models".
