This paper analyzes quality control problems of chemical cleaningengineering from selecting the suppliers of raw materials and analyzingparameters of cleaning engineering to on-site control. The old control way isbased on chemical engineering criteria, and fluctuations of some factors arevery large. According to the quality engineering criteria the process is out ofcontrol. To solve such problems, we employ total quality management based onthe statistical process control. The tools of SPC include analysis of variance,the student's test and the Shewhart control charts and so on. Throughemploying the analysis of variance we can select and then control main factorsThe Shewhart control charts can generate defined alarms when anunexpected change is monitored in the chemical cleaning process and ensurethe stability of control parameters. Thus the quality of chemical cleaningengineering can satisfy the customer's new requirements and the maximumvalue of the customer can be realized. This paper also establishes the quality information feedback system andcustomer satisfaction survey system to improve the chemical quality gradually. Promising results are observed after several evaluations of cleaningengineering: variation in cleaning engineering process is decreased and higherdegree of cleaning quality is achieved.
