On The Functions And Realizing Conditions Of Ideological And Political Education During The Political Civilization Construction Of Socialism

Establishing a socialist political civilization is an important political goal for building a well-off society in an all-round way, and it is also the value orientation of developing socialist democracy. The increasing advance of the socialist political civilization cannot but cause profound changes in all aspects of society. Therefore, Ideological and Political Education must adapt to the changes so as to fulfill its important functions of building socialist political civilization. This dissertation lays foundation on two prime principle theories of historical materialism: One is that social consciousness is dominated by social existence, the other is that ideological superstructure is determined by political superstructure as well as the facts of the socialist political civilization, analyses the functions of Ideological and Political Education such as guidance, spiritual agency and guarantee of social environment in a systematical way, and then discusses the basic conditions of these functions can be fulfilled. All of them are in order to offer a consultation how Ideological and Political Education serves the construction of political civilization in an effective way. The dissertation has 37,000 word and is dividded into four chapters:Chapter One: It makes a statement on the prime goals, basic tasks and important significance of the socialist political civilizationconstruction. This chapter begins with the basic connotation of socialist political civilization construction, and analyses the prime goals that should be attained, basic tasks and important significance in turns.Chapter Two : It explores the basic meaning and the role of Ideological and Political Education in the process of building political civilization. This chapter begins with the basic meaning and social political functions of Ideological and Political Education, and analyses its leading role in the process of the construction of political civilization.Chapter Three : It presents the important functions of Ideological and Political Education during the socialist political civilization construction. Based on the practice of the political civilization construction, it is analyzed that how Ideological and Political Education fulfils such functions as guidance, spiritual agency and guarantee of social environment.Chapter Four: It elaborates the realizing conditions of the important functions of Ideological and Political Education in the process of building socialist political civilization. This chapter begins with fundamental requirements and specific practice of the socialist political civilization construction, and analyses four realizing conditions of Ideological and Political Education. That is to say, how to maintain its homogeneity, opening-up and development, and emphasize further research on theories of Ideological and Political Education.
