A Study On Relation Between Urbanization Course And Agricultural Industrialization Development In Hunan

There is an internal relation between urbanization and agricultural industrialization. They are the mutual development condition and promote each other. Agricultural industrialization is one of the major motive forces of urbanization. Urbanization also has a great influence on agricultural industrialization. Currently, many scholars paid attention to the studying of the relationship between agricultural industrialization and urbanization and got obvious achievements, but which is mainly from a qualitative angle, furthermore, the study of how agricultural industrialization promote urbanization and the exemplary analysis is lagging obviously. This paper put forward the harmonious development pattern of urbanization and agricultural industrialization in Hunan by the qualitative and quantitative analyses of the relationships between the of course urbanization and the development of agricultural industrialization in Hunan. The article can be divided into five parts as follows:The first part, given as an introduction, presents the background and the significance of the research and the trends of home and abroad.The second part gives the general situation of the course of urbanization and agricultural industrialization in Hunan. Firstly, this part reviews the course of urbanization in Hunan and analyzes it's present characteristic: the urbanization level is low, the urbanization quality not high, the urban structure system not perfect. Secondly, this part sees back the history of agricultural industrialization in Hunan and analyzes it's achievement: the management of rationalization, specialization and scalization was evident day by day, the driving force of enterprises enhanced, the products market system becomes more and more perfect, the country's economic structure tends to more reasonable, the agricultural organization degree improved gradually. Then it advances some problems of agricultural industrialization in Hunan, such as the absence of promoting power and the administrative environment waitingto be further improved.The third part is the correlation analysis of the urbanization course and agricultural industrialization. Firstly, the contribution including agricultural products contribution, market contribution and factor contribution of agricultural industrialization for urbanization in Hunan was analyzed by correlation analysis method. Then analyzes the contribution of urbanization for agricultural industrialization in Hunan. Urbanization can provide wide market for agricultural industrialization, be greatly propitious for the growth of tap- enterprises, create conditions for the moderate scale-management of agricultural industrialization, and assure building agricultural industrialization service system.The fourth part calculates the trend of urbanization and agricultural industrialization in Hunan. It is predicted that the urbanization level of Hunan will be 39.5 percent in 2010 by the time-logic curve forecasting method and the surplus labor transferring method. People working in the first industry will decrease to 33.4 percent in Hunan, and agricultural industrialization level approaches Zhejiang Province in 2010. In 2023 people working in the first industry will decrease to 12 percent, and agricultural industrialization level close to that of America, i.e. entering the mature stage of agricultural industrialization.The fifth part puts forward the countermeasures of accelerating the harmonious development of urbanization and agricultural industrialization in Hunan. First, it is by developing scale-management to promote the transferring of surplus labors and improve the urbanization level. The way of scale-management includes reforming land law system, extending the scale-management of the products base, and promoting the development of tap-enterprises and strengthening their effect of drive and cluster.
