The research purpose of this essay is to analyze the main problems existing in the current Chinese housing consumption credit market and put forward the solution to the problems so as to enhance the housing consumption and boost the growth of national economy. I. The basic situation of Chinese housing consumption credit marketFamily is the basic component cell of the modern society and house is the base of the family civilization. As the old saying goes that live and work in peace and contentment, good housing policy and housing quantity is not only beneficial to the harmony and stability of the society but also make people have attachment to the motherland and devotion to work. The rapid development of the housing financial transaction with the commercial bank housing consumption credit as its representative greatly enhances the consumers' purchasing house payment ability, and housing consumption credit has been the major means to purchase their houses. At the end of 2003, the personal housing loan balance in Chinese commercial bank has counted up to 1178 Billion Yuan, which has increased by 20 times compared with the beginning of personal housing loan in 1997. The currently established personal housing loan types include personal dwelling housing commercial loan, personal commercial housing loan, personal housing accumulation fund loan, personal housing combination loan, out place in the country dweller housing loan, personal housing loan provided for bidding house purchaser, personal housing loan with secondary transaction, personal housing transfer loan and so forth. In addition, there are personal housing loans supporting the "live with comfort project", "economical and applicable house", "21st century well-off housing example village project". The above-mentioned personal housing loans basically meet the housing credit requirement of people in different walks. But personal housing loan is a new and developing retail business for the bank and the consumers' requirement is various. Therefore, it is necessary to research and innovate the personal housing loan business and put forward the personal housing loan business types which are suitable for the local market demand and are of development potential, and provide the consumers with flexible, applicable, convenient and high-efficient methods of paying back capital plus interest. II. The necessity and feasibility of developing Chinese housing consumption credit market There are several remarkable functions in developing housing consumption credit: housing consumption credit can encourage the economy to increase at a suitable speed; it can improve people's material life level; it can boost the management and development of the commercial bank; it can urge to put in practice the monetary policy efficiently; it is helpful to maintain the stability of RMB exchange rate; it can enhance the citizen's credit concept. There are several conditions as follows to meet the demand of developing housing consumption credit: the implementation of housing allocation monetization offers the advantageous conditions to develop the housing consumption credit; the steadily increased citizen's saving deposits provides the development of housing consumption credit with solid material foundation; national policy supports the credit consumption. We can make a conclusion from the above analysis: developing housing consumption credit is useful not only to increase consumption and drive economic growth but also to raise the capital's utility efficiency of the bank and increase profit income. Thus it is the best bonding point of economic development and financial development. Observed from the macrocosm economic environment we can see that, the prospect of the housing industry provides the housing consumption credit with a wild development scope. With the rapid development of urbanization, the urban population will be increased greatly, which will boost the further development of the housing consumption. III.
