The thesis, Combined with the project supported by National Nature Science Foundation of China (NO.70071029) - Research on the theory and application of Process Management and the project supported by Science Plan of Zhejiang Province (No.011106241) -Research on the implement of dynamic process management Do some research on the process management of ERP implementation, give an Enterprise Oriented ERP Implementation Guide(EEIG).ERP(enterprise resource planning) has been expected to resolve the management problems in manufacture enterprise. A prevailing number of enterprises conduct ERP, However, the rate of ERP project successful implement is very low. These problems have caused many companies to abandon their ERP initiative or implement the system in limited capacity. It is a great urgency to resolve the problems how to implement ERP in manufacture enterprise in our country and what strategy and method should be adopted in ERP implement process.This research, therefore, proposes an approach to eliminate the gap between the theory - the benefits from implementing ERP - and the reality - the effects of failing implementing ERP.The implementation of the ERP system can be divided into six stages in the EEIG: including the layout process before the implementation, the Business process blueprint, the system select, the system implementation, the go live and maintenance process. This study explores the issues related the first three stages of ERP implementation process. Analyzed the situations confronted by the company to implement its new ERP system. The study aims to help the IT/IS personnel shorten their learning cure and provide the senior management with useful implementation Guide. This research firstly adopts profitability and value activity analysis, and considers Critical Success Factors in ERP implementation. Next, base on the ERP implementation methodologies from the ERP vendors and the theories from the scholars, the Enterprise Oriented ERP Implementation Guide(EEIG) is formed.Thirdly, explores the first three stages of EEIG: the layout process before the implementation, the Business process blueprint, the system select. Then the risk management of ERP implementation is discussed.Finally, a real case: The implementation of ERP System for Tianqi Sports Goods (Ningbo) Co. Ltd is given to shown the ERP implementing reference model and methodology. The last chapter summarizes the achievements and shortcomings of the paper, the future research work is also suggested to improve and perfect the methodology on ERP implementation.
