Study On The Formation, Enrichment And Development Of Democratic Centralism Theory

The democratic centralism principle is the touchstone to distinguish true or false Marxist political party. First this thesis has investigated in detail the history of democratic centralism theory and practice. Second, it has reviewed up the theoretical contributions made by Marx, Engels, Lenin, Mao Zhedong, Deng Xiaoping, Jiang Zemin etc to the formation and development of democratic centralism principle, especially expounded the creative contributions made by the three generation leading collective of the Chinese Communist Party; summarized the experiences and lessons in the of progress, Marxist political party and democratic centralism and tried to make a summary of its development law. Finally, it has clarified the great theoretic and realistic significance of insisting and developing democratic centralism under the new situation. In historical development order, the study is conducted mainly through documents research method.The innovative points of the thesis may be summarized as follows. It shows the systematic nature when explaining the formation, enrichment and development of democratic centralism theory; It presents new views when generalizing the theoretical contributions to the democratic centralism made by the three generation leading collective of Chinese Communist Party and analyzing the main reasons for their theoretical originality contributions and the important enlightenments.
