The peace and development are two principal themes of current era. To China, a developing country, development is an absolute principle. Sustainable development has already become the great strategy of our social development and it is the contemporary and inevitable choice in the future for our Chinese people.Since more than 20 years, TVEs (Chinese township and village enterprises) have grown up and strengthened rapidly and already become the subject strength of Chinese rural economy and important pillar of national economy. However, the development of TVEs have brought the serious environmental pollution at the same time . The ecological destruction and the waste of resources impel us to pay attention to the study of the relationship between the development of TVEs and the sustainable development of the rural. This paper uses the methods of the thoerism and practice and summarizes the profound reason which hinders sustainable development of TVEs through an analysis of the course of the development of TVEs .In order to make the economic activity of TVEs follow the economic rule of development and natural environment law and guarantee that the coordination of the sustainable economic, sustainable ecology of countryside and sustainable society is unified, this paper also have probed into the development of TVEs and the road to sustainable development of the countryside in term of deepening the reform of TVEs and spirit governed by law of cultivation. Through the lasting , fast , healthy development of the township enterprise , we can be sure to construct and build a backward countryside into a beautiful grand blueprint.
