The Layout On Zhuankou Logistics Park And It's Logistics Information System

Logistics has played an important role in modern economy. It is "the third profit source" in western developed countries, which can lower the cost of an enterprise and can improve the service level of one. It is even regarded as high as the synthetic competitive capability of a country or a region. With the developing of modern logistics, the economy of China comes to the global world.More and more attention has been paid on modern logistics by our government and enterprises since the market competition. Some provinces plan to establish their logistics parks in their layout of logistics development. One of the important symbols of modern logistics is Logistics Information System, in our country, low lever LIS is the bottleneck that restricts the development of modern logistics.This paper has, on the view of modern logistics, integrated the newest trends of development both in China and western countries, analyzed the advantage and disadvantage of Wuhan, a region center city, on progressing it's modern logistics, after analyzing the requirement, given the layout of Zhuankou Logistics Park as a hinge of highway freight. More details has given on the LIS of ZLP and an opened Public Information Platform of the park has been described. A case on LIS of Baogong, has also been appended. In the end of this paper, some valuable advices on the LIS and PIP have been given.
