The Statistical Research On Commercial Banks Efficiency In Our Country

Efficiency is the centralized reflection of the competition ability of commercial banks, which is the key element to defense financial risk and sustainable development of the banking industry. As China has joined World Trade Organization, the competition between Chinese and foreign banks will be more intense. Therefore studying the efficiency problem as well as its influencing factor of the commercial bank of our country has certain theoretical meaning and realistic meaning.First this paper is for bank efficiency concept limit and basically theoretical analysis. From comparison the difference of efficiency and benefit, the author analyses the basic meaning of bank efficiency and elaborated theoretical development and the theoretical viewpoint of bank efficiency on this foundation from Marxism and modern economy views.Secondly, according to the fault of the domestic current commercial banks efficiency assessment technique methods, the author chooses reasonable input and output index and analyses the technical efficiency and pure efficiency and scale efficiency of Chinese fourteen commercial banks with the method of data envelop analysis(DEA).According to the efficiency estimated worth, the paper puts forward non-efficiency bank efficiency optimization scheme.Then, the author analyses the influencing factors of the commercial bank efficiency of our country from macroscopic and microscopic layers and establishes econometrics model and makes regression .The dependent variable is bank technical efficiency of the state-owned bank and share-holding system commercial by DBA method, and the independent variables are the bank feature variables such as the nature of property right, asset quality, bank scale and the quality of human resource.At last, the author puts forward the major channels of the promotion commercial bank efficiency of our country such as the optimization state-owned commercial banks structure of property right, optimization asset disposition, accelerating the financial technical innovation of bank trade and raising the quality of human resource.
