The Malaysia's overseas Chinese capital began to appear in thecolonial time and developed after the independence of Malaysia. The masterdissertation mainly has four parts to illustrate the overseas Chinese capital'sforming, developing, and its future direction. In addition, the dissertationdiscourses the way of the early capital's accumulation, the capital'scharacteristics and its unique position and function in Malaysian economicsociety. The first chapter introduces the changing process of the overseasChinese Capital, the transformation of overseas Chinese capital in Malaysia,the present research state in the field of overseas Chinese Economy and thestudy's theoretical and realistic significance. The second chapter discoursesthe way of early overseas Chinese capital's accumulation in Malaysia, thecharacteristics, the limiting elements for the capital and the heavy lossduring the period of Japanese control. In Chapter 3 the dissertation analysesthe overseas Chinese Capital's contribution to Malaysian industrialization,New Economic Policy's bad and good effects on the Capital and the rising ofoverseas Chinese enterprise combines. In the last chapter I first introducethe economic and trade relations between China and Malaysia in which therole of overseas Chinese Capital have been playing, then I predict thedirection and possible problems which the overseas Chinese capital inMalaysia may have.
