Socioeconomic Driving Mechanism Research On Land Use And Land Cover Change In Ya'an City

According to the socioeconomic statistic data and land use data, the paper analysed the situation of amount and degree's change about land use, land use structure and its change's space-time rule, land use change's region difference by the means of multiple regression or factor analysis. Driving factors for land use change was disclosed. The model between land use and driving factors was set up. At last, countermeasures for sustailable land use were brought forward in terms of the problems about land use.On the forward analysis, the thesis got the next several significant conclusions.From 1996 to 2002, the amount of land use in Ya'an City had changed largely. Amount of plowland had reduced. Garden plot's amount had increased. The total situation on woodland was increasing. Grassland and water area only a little increased. Residential plot, diggings region and traffic land enhanced rapidly. Unused land was continually cut down. The lessened range of unused land wasn't large. However, the cardinal number of unused land was too large. So the lessened amount was considerable. The scope of land use change was acutely from 1996 to 1999.From 1996 to 2002, the changed rate of land use degree in Ya'an City was less than zero. It indicated that land use in the region was situated in adjustment. These counties which change had exceeded average are Yucheng, Mingshan, Tianquan, Yingjing, Shimian. Baoxing County has changed least.During 1996 to 2002, there were certain differences in land use change among each county. These counties that comparative rate of plowland change had exceeded average are Mingshan, Hanyuan, Lushan, Baoxing. On the whole, garden plot change centralized in the south of Ya'an City. Except Shimian, comparative change rates on woodland of other counties were higher than the average. Yucheng was the largest comparative change on grassland. Comparative change rates of residential area, diggings land and water area was little difference among each county. Yucheng and Mingshan 's traffic land had a great change. Xingjing, Tianquan and Shimian changed larger on comparative change rate of unused land.By quantitative and qualitative analysis of socioeconomic driving factors, it was revealed that population, economic development, technology and policy were the main driving factorsfor land use and land cover change in Ya'an City. Population mainly bought forth the change on plowland proportion. The main driving factors of woodland were investment on capital asserts , policy on woodland instead of plowland and relative economic advantage driving forces. Level of citification, the main driving factor caused the change of residential area and diggings land. Investment on capital asserts was main driving factor for unused land's change. It was put forward countermeasures for realizing sustainable use on land resources in Ya'an City. Pattern of zoology development for land use and information system of public sevice should be set up. It is necessary to renovating and protecting of land environment. Innovation on land system must be carried out. Through above measures, it was bought forward references for Western Exploitation, protection on environment and reconstruction of ecosystem.
