Study On Social Security System In Rural Area In China

Now,it stands on the stage of the transform from traditional agriculture to modern agriculture in China. During the course, with the full-scale development of society and economy in rural area and the break of the economical and social foundation of previous family security, previous social security which families act as subject and centers on the land becomes unsuitable to the modernization of agriculture. However, an effective modern social security system (SSS) hasn't taken shape in our rural area. There lies a tough task to the modern economics and economical workers in countryside on how to establish an effective modern SSS in such a large agricultural country as China.Aiming at offering a model for the reform of rural SSS in China, this article mainly tackles the establishment of a new kind of rural SSS which can be suitable to the present status and development of society and economy in rural area. After analyzing the necessity of the establishment of the rural SSS, the article points out the definition, feature, content and classification of SSS, and discuss its theoretic foundation. Then, it recalls the evolving course of SSS in rural area in China, and indicates its default. Through drawing analogy in SSS between China and western developed countries, and between cities and rural area in China, this article puts forward the principle to construct a new kind of SSS in rural area. At last, it addresses the aiming model, market model and transforming model, and analyzes its inner and outer surroundings while enforcing these models.
