Petrochemical Industrial Project Managent Research Base On EPC Mode

Petrochemical industry is one of most significant industries in our country, which always affects the whole national economics situation. Nowadays petrochemical industry in China is mainly monopolized by state owned corporation. With China entered into WTO, it might be strongly impacted. International super petroleum corporation will make investment into Chinese market one after the other, and snatch at China's market. In order to have advantage in this competition of the worldwide, SINOPEC will invest a number of large petrochemical projects and rebuild or enlarge old factories. These projects are complicated systems engineering for managing. As project management is developing from simplicity to advanced and systematical manner,especially with international engineering company and oversea technical project coming into Chinese market, project management level is expected to be improved, so it is critical to introduce some advanced project management methods and theories in our country, and combine these methods ways into our current management system. The thesis analyzes and researches some petrochemical Project management modes by contrast analytic methods,and finds out the common and successful points from the specific cases,obtains a set of management mode and scheme which can be applied to current petrochemical project management. The thesis stated key control factor in the project management, which ensures the project on smooth process and gain the best return of investment. The thesis uses a case about EPC petrochemical project to analyze the key control factors and the EPC management mode, hoping that it is beneficial to our project management.
