Under the criterion that those enterprises can be called as large enterprise whose assets and turnover are both more than 500 million RMB, over 99% of Chinese enterprises are mid-small enterprises. Therefore, the growth and development of those mid-small enterprises are essential to the development of the whole economy of China. Leverage strategy is an effective way for the Chinese mid-small enterprises to gain the fast growth and development.However, the current theory on leverage strategy has not been perfect, it is very necessary for Chinese mid-small enterprises to have an all-round and systematical theory on leverage strategy to guide there practice. This thesis tries to analyze the mechanism of leverage strategy deeply and thoroughly in order to make up the defect of the current theory and dig out its key points. Combining that with the current situation that Chinese mid-small enterprises apply that strategy, the thesis finds out the reason why Chinese mid-small enterprises fails and raises the countermeasure to realize its successful application.Firstly, this thesis deeply and thoroughly analyzes the theory. The emphasis is to expound and adequately prove the core viewpoint, that is, the key of leverage strategy is to realize the amplification impact of strategic positioning and synergetic effect. Then the thesis expounds the application mode of leverage strategy. At last, the thesis comes to the application of leverage strategy in Chinese mid-small enterprises. After clearing its important and realistic meaning to Chinese mid-small enterprises, the thesis comes to analyze the current situation of its application in Chinese mid-small enterprises, and finds out the reason for its failure and then raises the countermeasures.
