In the 50s of the 20th century, newly founded socialist .China was confronted with peculiarly dangerous international environment, which made the national security strategy hold a leading role in the survival and development of New China. Mao Zedong is the founder of China, and the initiator of the national security strategy of New China. This passage is aimed at discussing Mao's national security strategy in this period.Mao's national security strategy is a scientific and rich system. He judged correctly and scientifically the international environment of the 50s, established and implemented the principle of independent national security strategy, formulated the measures to deal with the main threats against New China, and designed the basic features of this strategy, which all constitute the core of Mao's national security strategyMao's national security strategy shows clear times' features and Chinese characteristics.
