A Study Of The Influences Of International Certifications In China On Export

International certifications are always a hot point to corporations, which results from the following reasons. Firstly, the developed countries such as European countries, America and Japan etc. require international certifications for the imported products and exported corporations from other countries, otherwise they can't import. In addition, there are the according rules and regulations for international certifications in WTO and the other international organizations. To pass international certifications can lower risk and cost which result from asymmetry information, regulate the market at home and abroad and reduce trade barriers, therefore provide the convenience for companies' import and export. Secondly, international certifications represent the advanced and effective management experience and marketing ideas of developed countries. To pass international certifications can enhance our companies' management skills and products quality, improve companies' reputation, provide quality and reputation guarantee, shorten the gap between our companies and the excellent companies in the world and strengthen the export ability of companies.About the effects of international certification on export, there is a little research. This paper systematically discusses that international certifications play a stimulative role in export product quality, export cost, export product brand etc. And this paper designs a model of multianalysis about the export in China, studying the influences of international certifications (for the example of ISO9000 quality system certification) on the export of the whole country, typical areas and industries by using partial least-squares regression (PLS).The study shows international certifications have a positive effect on export in China. International certifications are a factor to affect export. When international certifications increase 1%, the export in China will gain 0.0416%. International certifications have different effects on different areas export and industries export.
