The Assay discusses the business opportunities and threats to Zhong Ao Waterproof Materials Co., Ltd (hereinafter referred to as the "Zhong Ao") using strategic management mechanism with incorporation of the specific characteristics of Zhong Ao. It is revealed upon an analysis of market threats, impairment of threats and an analysis of existing opportunities in the market that there are more opportunities than threats to Zhong Ao and the waterproof products are generally demanded by market.In the meantime it is found that the advantage of first presence of products in market is an important opportunity for Zhong Ao whilst a differentiated strategy will enable Zhong Ao to impair threats and to utilize opportunities. Zhong Ao's resources are of great advantage and of special sustainable nature, which put Zhong Ao in a strong position in the market.As a general market demand for waterproof products does exist and additionally Zhong Ao has got its unique advantages, the first presence of products and differentiated strategy deduced from the analysis will be the strategy to be selected for Zhong Ao's product.Based on the analysis of organization and market, Zhong Ao formulated a strategic marketing objective of "Occupying Market, Establishment of Brand and Generation of Revenue". Being centered on the innovative strategic objective, Zhong Ao has performed its first presence and differentiated strategy with release of a series of carefully programmed unique marketing initiatives, which have lead to increased occupation of market shares in a fast way. Consequently a Zhong Ao Waterproof Campaign spreads over all corners of China, and the Zhong Ao brand has left an impressive image in people's minds in a very short time. All these efforts have resulted in a sales volume of RMB50 million Yuan for a single product, which created a Zhong Ao Mystery in the waterproof marketing.Through the analysis of Zhong Ao's marketing strategy, we can conclude that the right choice of marketing strategy and effective implementation of same are a key issue for Zhong Ao's commercial success.
