The rapid development of information technology has accelerated the process of enterprise's modernization and informationization. The combination of computer technology and management science has led to the birth of management technology for modern enterprises. By modern management pattern and management information system, modern management technology can make enterprises manage operation and production systemically and more appropriately. Enterprises can make good use of current equipments, resources like human resources and technology and obtain the best economic benefits.Enterprise resource planning (ERP) is based on information technology. Making use of systemic management, ERP has provided decision-making management platform for decision-makers and employees. Since Garter Group Inc first brought forward the concept of ERP in nineties, ERP has developed for more than ten years. During last decade, great changes have taken place in the commercial environment for enterprises. As a new business model, electronic business has accounted for most of modern commerce. In this E-business times, competition pattern between enterprises has evolved from simply competition to competition of supply chains. In order to gain competitive edge, enterprises have to try to realize the cooperative operation between enterprises on the supply chains and rapidly meet the personal demand of customers. Enterprises must be able to adapt to the changeable environment and change the strategy of product-oriented to customer-oriented. Obviously, traditional ERP, which put emphasis on inner enterprise operation, can not meet the requirements of modern enterprise management.From demand of modern enterprise for ERP system which can realize enterprises resources planning along supply chains, we can see that the focus of new generation ERP system will shifted from inner operation in a company to outer cooperation and communication between enterprises. After examining commercial environment enterprises exists at this e-business times and deficiencies of current ERP system, this paper has introduced the V-ERP concept, its main features and major functions it should have. This paper has also specifically introduced visual internet marketing system. After analyzing the functions of visual internet marketing system, the paper has provided designs of hardware structure, software structure and systemic structure for this system.
