It has been 200 more years since the establishment of worldwide division Theory. The never-stopping deepening process of worldwide division begins from division inter-industry to division inner industry, and then finally it comes to the era of dividing according to each value-added procedure in a whole value chain, which are a new feature of nowadays worldwide division and an extension of original worldwide division system. With China's ever fast participation into the world's economic activities, the manufacturing industries in this country is much more and widely concerned with the new worldwide division system, which has brought great influence on China's manufacturing industries competitiveness. This kind of influence is one of the paper's focuses. The author also aims at the evaluation of the competitiveness by empirical research and discussion of the developing trend in China manufacturing industries competitiveness. Starting from the analysis on the changes of present worldwide division system, which including the internal causes, external conditions and the domination force, the author goes to the discussion on how China manufacturing industries develops and what kind of advantages and disadvantages it has. Based on relevant import and export data, some empirical researches are conducted concerned about the China manufacturing industries competitiveness. Lastly, the author expresses her opinion on the development of China manufacturing industries. She don't think China's long term goal should be to become the world's manufacturing center in all industries instead of only in some selected industries. This paper is characterized with its large quantity of empirical researches.
