| The net present value of an investment is a simple criterion for deciding whether or not to undertake an investment. It consists of current operation value(COV) and future growth value(FGV). The focus of an investment is how to compute an investment's value. From the viewpoint of independent investor, the article analyzed the value of Beiqi Foton Motor Co., Ltd. (Beiqi Foton) in order to aid to make investment decisions. Based on the result of analysis of corporate governance of Beiqi Foton and industry, it studied the current situation in competition. By Beiqi Foton's products, it discuss the corporation strategy and products' profitability. Further more, it analyzed the financial status of Beiqi Foton to identify internal durable growth and level of corporate governance.Grounded on financial information after making adjustment for original financial statement, it evaluates the value of Beiqi Foton. In this section, CAPM model is used to give a thorough analysis. The focus is corporate future growth value by discuss the firm's operating efficiency and financial policy. The basis of making investment decision is to compute the internal value of stock by NPV.
