Research And Application Of Knowledge Management In OA System

With the coming of knowledge economy times, in the future's global competition, the ability of knowledge management will be the core competitive power of companies and enterprises and it will be the key factor of continue-able development. Many knowledge-intensive enterprises have applied the knowledge management idea and strategy to management practice, and they have gained outstanding effect and have accumulated rich experience these years.Although the information-intensive organization occupy abundant information resources, the efficiency of information is low and the knowledge is always in the state of dispersion and disorder. On the one hand, the practice of knowledge management is critically needed in order to form the core competition power. On the other hand, they are faced with the realistic problems such as: low informatization level, the different stuff of employees, insufficient studying environment and so on. This essay adopts one irrigation area management organization as example and explores the strategy and model of carrying out the knowledge management suitable for information-intensive organizations. This essay develops glossy design of irrigation area management OA system based on knowledge management with the theory's direction. Emphasis is put on how to establish the irrigation area knowledge database based on dynamic correlative of knowledge management mechanism.In the construction of knowledge database system, the coding of knowledge documents and the documents generated from working flow are all in Dublin Core metadata format to form the foundation of the standard, normative management of knowledge and the foundation of high efficient index. The system, which is based on Lotus Domino/Notes platform integrating Domino.Doc, Lotus Workflow and Sametime, utilize the favorable feature of document management, intelligent working flow and instant communication after the software integration to design the knowledge management mechanism with the core of knowledge index, knowledge spreading, knowledge share and knowledge accumulation. The knowledge management will be employed in daily working flow.
