Research On The Risk Management Of Guangwang Road Construction Project In Sichuan Province

Road Construction is one of the most important fundamental establishment projects inChina. It is a complicated, systemic engineering because of so long time for project, hugeinvestment, changeful risk and so many people involved. Therefore it must be managed bythe theories and methods of modern project management.However, many road construction projects were failed because of neglect of riskmanagement in China. For avoid or reduce the risk loss, the risk management and researchmust be carried out.In the view of owner and on the base of the basic principles and theory of modern projectrisk management, the key methods and technologies such as risk identify, risk analysis andrisk control etc. are studied systematically for Guangwang Road Project in the paper. Themain issues are as follows:(1) Based on investigating Guangwang Road Project deeply, collecting and analyzing related documents, the advantages of the risk management in Guangwang Road Construction is discussed, at the same time its research contents are decided distinctly.(2) Identifying risk is the base of risk management. Based on the collected documents and satisfying the actual needs of Guangwang Road Poject risk management, the principle and process are supposed. Furthermore, the risk factors identified and its corresponding risk bill is finished by use for history documents, brainstorm and expert assessment.(3) Then, the accident tree and the fish bone map are used to analyze the risk factor attributes and danger in Guangwang Road Construction Project. Meanwhile, the risk inGuangwang Road Poject is evaluated by means of expert judgment and mathematic model, which provides scientific reference for risk control.(4) Acoording to the result of risk evaluation, the risk control strategies and system are researched and supposed for Guangwang Road Project, which can effectively help to reduce and avoid risk loss.
