1. The meaning and innovation of this paper2005 is the eventful period of Sino-Japanese relations between the two countries, the relations between the two countries not only caused the extensive concern of the two countries' political circles , business circles , educational circles , folks, but also has caused the attracting attention of the world. In 2004, the development speed of foreign trade of our country was surprising, the total import and export value reached a high point of 1,000 billion dollars. China had taken the third place of the total trade amount list in the world only after the U.S.A and Germany. The tide of integration of regional economics of East Asia grows vigorously, various countries conclude the free trade agreement of one after another. Under the background of the integration of regional economics of East Asia , the further investigation the trading problems between China and Japan will help us to realize the current situation of the trade between China and Japan , existing contradiction, and to contribute to our prediction of the future of the trading relations between the two countries. It will be helpful for us to handle the trade friction, conflict of interests of countries which China will meet if the foreign trade grows fast at a short period at present and in the future.Domestic research to the Sino-Japanese economic relations proceeds with a concrete respect mostly at present, lack of systematic research and summary. This paper attempts to carry on some tries in this respect. The main innovation of the article is: Firstly, I calculate the complementarity of China and Japan's economy with the model and theory of international trade. Secondly, this paper analyze the economic complementarity and cooperative space between China and Japan from many fields such as trade, foreign direct investment, finance , energy , science and technology ,etc. It also has pointed out that these fields can promote each other. Thirdly, it analyzes the prospect of Sino-Japanese economic relations under the background economic integration of East Asia which give the conclusion a broad view.2. The structure and main conclusions of this paperThe article is divided into six chapters altogether, the structure of every chapter and main views are as follows. Chapter one which is the preface, has introduced the background, meaning, domestic and international research results, research object, research method, innovation and weak point of the paper. The world background of Sino-Japanese economic relations is the globalization and integration of regional economics. The competition of the countries needs the support of the united market of the regional economy group more and more. China and Japan have lag behind other economic giants most in the process of regional economy integration. So the study of how to promote the development of the economic relations between two countries is of great significance to the economic integration of East Asia.The chapter two has reviewed the development history, achievement and obstacles of the Sino-Japanese economic relations mainly. The review of the Sino-Japanese economic relations has given us a clear understanding of the history of the Sino-Japanese economic relations We can find out through the development course of the Sino-Japanese economic relations, that the good Sino-Japanese economic relations was obtained only when political relations between two countries were relatively better. Because the diplomatic relations and political relations of two countries are very bad at present, the economic relations of the two countries are given a negative effect in a short time. Though a lot of twists have appeared in the economic relations between the two countries, but in general, economic relations between two countries have made very great achievement.
