| The adjustment of agricultural structure is main task for the national agricultural development. The optimization of the spatial distribution in peri-urban agriculture sectors of Beijng Municipality is important research subject. In this thesis, based on the regional database of agricultural resource and environment and social-economic information, the present situation of resource and environment, agricultural development strategy were investigated and evaluated under the support of GIS system. Meantime the problems, trend and strategy of agricultural development and marker potential for agricultural products and services were analyzed and identified. The identification of predominance agricultural sectors was based on the analysis of agricultural structure change, requirement of sustainable development, unification and integration of urban and rural area, comparative dominance and competition of Beijing with surrounding area. As result, the seven predominant agricultural sectors were identified, including seed production, eco-economic agriculture, agricultural product-processing, fresh product distribution, agro-tourism, agricultural information and agricultural technical service. Based on the present distribution and development of seven agricultural sectors in Beijing Municipality, the peri-urban agricultural area of Beijing was divided into the five sub region. Spatial arrangement of different agricultural sectors was planned under support of GIS technique. |
