The Comparison And Evaluation Of International Medical Security Schemes

The author of this paper studies to establish an evaluation system on the indicators for international medical security schemes, based on the reading of a large number of national and international experts' reports and research materials as well as on the analysis of medical security schemes in different countries. The author quantified the relevant descriptive indicators and numerical indicators so as to compare and evaluate the medical security schemes in selected countries. After that, the author analyzed the current situation and existing problems in medical security system in China in a search for policy recommendations for labour security agencies.The modality of research is to establish an evaluation system on the indicators for international medical security schemes. It adopts score system to grade all indicators for the purpose of comparison, evaluation and analysis.The point this paper is trying to make is that economic system reform in China has greatly promoted economic development and enhanced productivity. However, in the process of economic transition, the medical security system has yet to meet the demands of socio-economic development. This could be attributed to the imbalanced development between economic growth and social progress. According to analysis and comparison, the overall score of China falls behind other countries in the sample framework. Thus speeding up medical security system development has become an urgent task.
