Using Data-Warehouse To Establish A Data Analysis System Of Agricultural Call Center

In order to solve the problem that "the data is abundant, but the information is short", currently existing in call centers of agricultural information service, this paper puts forward the method of data warehouse to solve the problem of data analysis of agricultural call center. On the basis of building the data warehouse of call center, on-line analytical processing (OLAP) is used to multi-dimension analysis and data mining is used to customer segmetation and needed information classification, which provides the important evidence to assist the managers of the call center to constitute more scientific information service strategy, and raises the level of information service of call center.The whole paper mainly discusses the scheme of data analysis system, the building of data warehouses, the model of data mining, and the realization of data analysis system. First, the data resources of agricultural call center have been analyzed, and the scheme of using data warehouse to establish data analysis system of agricultural call center has been put forward. Secondly, according to the goal of system, the warehouse data models of the data analysis system of call center, which includes two subjects' customer and needed information, have been established. Through the process of extraction, transformation and load (ETL), the data is put into data warehouse from data headstream, and the data warehouse is built up, which prepares data for data analysis. Thirdly, based on the data preparation, knowledge discovery has been discussed through data mining, including applying the method of decision tree for customer segmetation and needed information classification, building up decision tree and producing the set of rules. Finally, according to the demand of software engineering and by the tools of ASP, OWC, VC++ and etc, the OLAP model and the data mining model have been implemented. And based on data warehouse, the prototype of the agricultural call center data analysis system has been basically achieved.The design scheme, the model of data analysis and the method of system realization of this paper are valuable to build up the data warehouse system of others fields.
