In this treatise the inverted "U" mathematic model is used to describe Chinese regional inequity. This treatise carries out empirical research on the difference in the economic development among the east, mid- and west China. The time sequence and related statistical data from 1981 to 2002 show that during 1983-2002 the relative gap among the three regions has been increased .Then, based on the inverted "U" theory, the changing process of Chinese regional difference may be divided into three stages: the stage of the increasing regional disparity from 1983 to 2000, the regional coordinated economic development from 2000 to 2020, and the siage of the decreasing regional disparity from 2020 to 2050. The result shows that the curve is not the standard inverted "U" shape while fluctuating with inverted "U" shape. The main reason of the increasing disparity among the east, mid- and west China is the rapid development of East China. The economic development of this area has gradually reduced the regional disparity among the provinces of East China, and the disparity of economic development has been diminished between the country and other developed countries. Nowadays, it's the time to reverse the trend of the increasing regional disparity among the east, mid- and west China. It has been proved that not only has Chinese regional economic development completed the first stage, but also has been entering the second stage. The policy of the coordinated regional development, a series of acceptable changes about regional economic growth, the restrictions on the quantity of agrarian resources, energy resources and environmental pollution are the evidences of decreasing regional disparity. Finally, realizing common wealthy is the supporting theory that Chinese regional gap will be shortened. In brief, the law of inverted "U" can be applied to analyze Chinese regional economic development. In the second part the inverted "U" model is used to describe regional inequity of Jiangxi province. Jiangxi could be divided into two parts, three parts or eleven parts respectively. Jiangxi province shows that the disparity between the high-income area and the low-income area is more typical than that of between the noith and the south. The conclusion of the second part shows that the objective area disparity is a basic provincial condition for Jiangxi province.
