Under the background of the popular study and extensive application of the QFD, thisdissertation uses the related study results for reference, expound the importance oftranslating customer demand into product attributes in product development; Begin withconcepts of customer demand and product attributes, present both related classifications,and clarify their correlation; Introduce the related theory and model of translating customerdemand into product attributes —— QFD and analyze its advantages and limitations; On thebasis of those, put forward the path of translating customer demand into product attributes:through introducing the customer pyramid model, classify and select customer demandfurther based on differences of customers' profitability; Select synthetically productattributes and set up its model; Then aiming at the QFD' s certain limitations, respectivelycombine the QFD with customer pyramid model, customer demand classification andproduct attributes classification, to make the QFD complete translating customer demandinto product attributes more availably, and establish the flow chart and its QFD matrix.
