Research On The Development Of Tourism Industrial Cluster In Tumen River Growth Triangle

Tumen River Growth Triangle, as the Golden Triangle in Northeast Asia, has achievedthe periodical result over the past ten years of development. The level of development,however, is still at its lower stage, and it is still quite difficult to meet the aims of resourceintegration and the integration of factors that flow freely. However, under the currentsituation, we find it possible to achieve the integration in certain field or industry.Particularly, the tourism industry in Tumen River Growth Triangle, which owns excellenttourism resource, has the priority to develop. So, It is very important to study thedevelopment of the tourism industry in Tumen Growth Triangle. Under such a background,this article is trying to propose the development mode of tourism industry cluster inTumen River Growth Triangle, trying to offer a solution to the integrated development inthis area. With reference to the relative theories of regional economics, industrial economics,tourism economics and economic geography, using the tools of positive analysis,normative analysis, static analysis, dynamic analysis, qualitative analysis, empiricalanalysis and systems analysis, this article has tried to summarize the theory and the generallaw of the development of the tourism industrial cluster in the Growth Triangle . Furthermore, combined with the current situation of development, we have raised the developmentmode of the tourism industrial cluster in Tumen River Growth Triangle, and finally offeredthe solutions. This article is composed of four chapters apart from the preface and the summary. Chapter one, a summary on the theoretical framework of the tourism industrial clusterin the Growth Triangle. This chapter firstly proposed the basic theory of tourism industrialcluster, including the notion, the characteristics, the conditions of forming anddevelopment, the processes of development and the law of development, especially definedthe tourism industrial cluster and gave a definition from the aspect of industrial chain.What's more, on the basis of the theory of tourism industrial cluster, combined with thecharacteristics of the Growth Triangle, this chapter has proposed the general law of thetourism industrial cluster in the Growth Triangle, including the feasibility, specialty,general processes of development, basic mode of the tourism development in this area. Chapter two, an analysis on the status of development of the tourism industrial clusterin Tumen River Growth Triangle. This chapter firstly has profiled the status ofdevelopment of the tourism industrial cluster in each area and as a whole, secondlyanalyzed the advantages and finally pointed out the problems and their reasons. Chapter three, a proposition on the conception of development for the tourismindustrial cluster in Tumen River Growth Triangle. In this chapter, we have offered theshort-term and long-term targets for the development of the tourism industrial cluster andanalyzed its dynamic mechanism in this area. At the end of this chapter, we have offered aconcrete development mode for the tourism industrial cluster. Chapter four, solutions for the development of the tourism industrial cluster in theTumen River Growth Triangle, both the short-term and the long-term. In the short-term,the solution focuses on how to strengthen the construction of the composing factors of thetourism industrial cluster, including mainly the formulation of the development strategy forthe tourism industrial cluster, the exploration of a broader tourism market and furtherconstruction of the composing factors. In the long-term, the solution aims to strengthen theextension of the tourism industrial chain to other countries or areas and to cooperate withthe nearby areas. This mainly includes: extending the tourism industrial chain, broadeningthe cooperation with the nearby areas, and building the tourism networks in Tumen Riverand Northeast Asia.
