The Current Situation And Development Trend Of The Landscape Nursery Industry In China

From August of 2003 to May of 2005, the author had carried on investigation of some situations, such as the distribution of wild ornamental plants,the choices of trees in urban landscape greening, and nursery production and sales,etc,successively in the following cities, Yunnan,Neimeng,Jilin,Beijing,Hebei,Shanghai,Zhejiang,Jiangsu,Shandong,Henan,G uangdong. Especially the author investigated more than 100 nursery production and design companies in Beijing,Shandong,Hangzhou, visited relevant government department ,trade union, experts and scholars, in order to master the materials of the nursery industry of landscape greening in the development history, produce and sell data, production distribution, product structure, technological content, produce and keep type, selling circulation, imports and exports and scientific research state ,etc.In the foundation of grasping the firsthand material fully, the nursery industry's current situation of the whole country and every nursery plants main producing region has been described in detail. Take Xiaoshan, Changzhou, Changsha and Suzhou for example, the following four modes of development in nursery industry of our country at present, the fast development, the steady development, the turbulent development, and the lagged development, have been recommended separately. Compared with the advantage and disadvantage of the four producing type in nursery industry of our country, family workshop, enterprise run by the local people , state-run nursery and the "company and peasants", the author advised enlarging the management mode of the "company and peasants".On the basis of analyzing that the superiority and inferiority of nursery industry's development in our country, the author has explained the main problems existing in the nursery production and market in detail : introduce from other localities or foreign countries becomes a common practice, the resources in the planting industry of the nationality are deficient, unordered production, product structure is unreasonable, the levelof product management lags behind, the technological content is low, the market is nonstandard, unordered competition, information is obturated, the commercial network is imperfect, the international competence of nursery plants is bad, etc.In order to settle these problems well, the government, trade union, experts and scholars, and nursery product company must make concerted effort, make scientific overall arrangement, overall planning, take the active, reliable and feasible development measures, so that the nursery industry of landscape greening in our country will make lasting, sound and swift development towards the following directions: divided the work definitely, management characteristically, production standardization, production diversification, market standardization, sell channel diversely.
