The competition between the mainframe factories became directly the competition between the supply chains. Improving the pattern of management of supply chains and rebuilding the workflow, become the emphasis of each carmaker.The supply chains management of FAW-VW are mostly focus on supplier and manufacturer, just a parts of supply chain, the mainly content is the selection and location on supplier, reducing cost, controlling quality, ensuring continuity and economical of the supply chains, not considering entirely for entire supply chains from supplier, sellers, tradesmen to finally consumers and not considering the problems about the strategy of supply chain management. So in FAW-VW, at present, supply chains is just the connection physical, not become a true supply chains, the management and operation pattern for the enterprise doesn't fit to serving the needs of supply chain management, the following is the main problems:I. The production and management system of the corporation never consider the effect on supply chains. The operation patterns are respective, the supplying, production, and sale never form a real "chains".II. There is obstruction between the departments, the system's harmonize is not good. The corporation and each supplier have not a concerted plan, each department does something by itself, and it is not excellent about the integration.III. The information systems are fall behind. The internal systems of corporation are not integrated, the technique of data processing is fall behind, the tools for communication between corporations are drop behind.IV. It is lack of cooperate relation for the buyer and the seller. It always thinks about a little benefit, it has price competition between the suppliers; it loses trust and cooperates from suppliers.V. It had not established effective market respond, consumers' serve, the hortatory ways and evaluating level about supply chains management.All of above, it is very difficult for FAW-VW to turn traditional management pattern to supply chains management pattern quickly.Rebuilding supply chains management pattern for FAW-VW should lay particular stress on the following aspects:I. We rebuild the supply chain management system. It should be integrated and associated for manufacturers, the suppliers, and the sellers. Under the influence of supply chains management, we should think about the influence not only of the internal corporation but also of manufacture cost and service from supply chains, We should extended the factor affecting production system to operation to the outside of corporations, we should contact to all corporations on the supply chains.II. Run through the connection information of databank. The effective controlling for supply chains needs to coordinate key data in different section. For manage can obtain all information rapidly and exactly, we should try ours best to connect information of DDB on the supply chains by the technique means, so we can achieve to share the order of receiving and sending by electricity, to control the stock for many place, to batch and track the series number, cycle check, etc.III. We should put the production plan, control pattern and supporting system together. It isn't isolated for each node of supply chains; any a production plan and controlling the decision can affect the decision of all supply chains. So we should establish integration production plan, controlling pattern and supporting system that it is fit to management for supply chains.I...
